Back-to-school. Colder weather. Rain. Shorter days. There are so many reasons to call this month Fucktember, but none as important as educating people about Cancer, which is why we’re declaring this month Fucktember!

So what exactly does that mean? It means that we are enlisting the help of our incredible online supporters to spread awareness and education to their twitter and facebook networks. Using an interactive facebook application, users can be “donate” their facebook and twitter status updates to the movement to get the message of early detection out to their friends, family and followers, with a surprising and edgy new message each day. With all of these collective voices shouting the importance of early detection in unison, our mission will be hard to ignore.

Why is this important? Because people don’t talk about cancer until they have it. We’ve always been out to change that, to shake things up and really get people talking about cancer before they have to, and to help people understand that 90% of cancers are curable if caught in stage one. With your help, we’re creating a generation that will put an end to late stage cancer diagnosis.
